THEATRICAL WORK

A Lie of the Mind is a self-directed film adaptation of Sam Shepard’s 1985 play, starring Tre Davis and Lapis Dove. Exploring the fractured dynamics of family, love, and the human psyche, the piece translates Shepard’s haunting dramatic world to the screen. The project marks Lapis Dove’s first foray into filmmaking, showcasing her work both on camera and behind the scenes through her special effects makeup design.
